The underground from an urbanist point of view. It is a layer of a city which we are not used to considering in urban planning. In the future it will be necessary to increase the planning of structures which, while not visible from the surface, are absolutely essential for a city. The text presents a definition of the term underground, an insight into it in different contexts, and an analysis of Prague’s structures – a definition of the underground panorama as an instrument for a new way of working with the urbanized surface of the Earth.
